How about your very own pitch for a whole season in the Duinen van Texel National Park? It’s an amazing location to use as a base, because it’s close to both the beach and the enchanting village of Den Hoorn. This campsite in the dunes has an open-air swimming pool, a restaurant, a cafeteria and play facilities to offer its guests.
is situated in National Park Dunes of Texel. The rolling dunes, stunning heaths and pines give this campsite its unique appearance. Because these are natural pitches, every pitch differs in size. All pitches come with 16 Amp hook-up and cable TV connection.
The campsite is located in the widest range of dunes of Texel, with nature literally on its doorstep. The beach is a dune walk away or only a 10-minute bike ride to Paal 9. The nearby charming village of Den Hoorn, with restaurants and a small supermarket, was once a whaling village.
There is a modern sanitary block by the seasonal pitches with wash cubicles with hot and cold water, free hot showers, toilets and dishwashing areas. The sanitary blocks are always pleasantly heated.
Camping Loodsmansduin is open from March to the end of October. In the period in between, nature is left to do its own thing, which gives the campsite its charm. This means that you can only pitch a touring caravan on your seasonal pitch. If you are looking to store your caravan during the winter period, you can arrange this yourself with one of the farmers on Texel. Our staff will be happy to pick up and drop off your caravan at the start or end of the season as per agreement.
