Shirma Rouse

Shirma Rouse, a soul singer born in the Dutch Antilles, started her career as a backing vocalist for Chaka Khan, Michael Bolton, Candy Dulfer and Anouk, among others. In 2013, she was part of the Dutch delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest. Here, she was unanimously voted best backing vocal of the event by the organisation.
In the same year, she participated in The Voice of Holland and reached the semi-finals. Since then, she has continued as a singer and has released six studio albums.

During the concert, Shirma Rouse will sing music from her seventh album and first Christmas album 'Shirma's Christmas Gospel Sessions', supplemented with other Christmas and gospel classics. Songs like Go tell it on the mountain, I won't complain, but also Christmas classics like Let it snow, Driving home for christmas and All I want for christmas will be performed during this intimate concert.
