Child-friendly campsite
Campsite De Krim offers beautifully laid out, child-friendly camping fields (often overlooking a small playground for the little ones), heated sanitary facilities and a great location, close to the beach and sea.
If you have got your own camping gear, you have a choice of a standard or premium pitch or a pitch with private sanitary facilities. Campsite De Krim provides special camper pitches, inside and outside ‘the gate’!
Rental accommodation
Since 2017, Campsite De Krim rents out luxury lodges (6 people): fully furnished glamping tents with own kitchen, bathroom and box bed for the kids, among other things! Are you touring the island or looking for no-frills, short-stay accommodation? The hiker’s cabin on Texel is just what you need! At the holiday park, other accommodation options include chalet, hotel chalet, bungalow or luxury family villa.
Super recreation programme
During the school holidays, all kinds of fun kids’ activities are organised at the holiday park. Take, for example, the fantastic recreation programme including, Joris Jutter, the son of a real Texel beachcomber.

We are proud to announce that in 2020 our campsite was once again awarded the maximum 5 stars in the classification by the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB and its German sister organisation ADAC. This makes Campsite De Krim one of 187 ‘Best Campsites’ in Europe!

''The road over the Volharding dyke, with a beautiful view of the mud flats with Vlieland in the distance. This is one of my favourite spots. There are many cycle paths and footpaths near the campsite. The Hanenpad route is recommended, and a walk through the dunes or nature reserve De Slufter is also very pleasant. If it’s peace and quiet you’re after, the dyke near the Thunderbolt statue (Bliksemschicht) is definitely worth a visit. Beach pavilions Paal 33 and Paal 28, famous for their spareribs, are highly recommended for food and drink.''

Campsite De Krim is situated in De Cocksdorp, in the north of Texel. It is part of Holiday Park De Krim. With a wide range of superb facilities at the campsite, you don’t actually need to leave it. But that would be a shame because there is so much to do and discover on Texel!

Pick your own fruit, vegetables and flowers straight from the garden in the Pluck-Your-Own Garden, then take some refreshment on the terrace. Of course, you can take the harvest back home with you. Find out more about...

Lighthouse
The lighthouse of Texel is located at the north of the island. Roughly 45 meters above the sea level you have a fantastic view over the North Sea, Wadden Sea, Vlieland and Texel. But also the inside of the tower is fascinating....
