Tropical Sea Festival
First, several bands play their music in the main street of the village; then the party continues in the pubs. Various bands play live at the restaurants and cafés in De Koog. The music fills the sultry summer nights on Texel. It’s a cheerful and colourful festival: the Tropical Sea Festival.

Party in De Koog
During this festival the streets are filled with dancers and dancers in Caribbean outfits. In several villages live music is played and there is a lot of entertainment like the spectacular dance with fire. There is something for everyone, from Soul music to R&B or Salsa!
Delicacies
Everyone is unpacking during the Tropical Sea Festival. You will find food trucks with different kinds of food and drinks everywhere. Tasty tropical cocktails and dishes, but also Texel hot dogs and sweet Flammküchen!
