‘Vakantiepark de Krim provided exactly the kind of secluded setting we needed for our 10-day PhD school, ISAPP 2017. The luxury family villas were the perfect form of accommodation for our 48 students, as the large living areas and kitchens provided the perfect space to come together and network or study during their free time. Our teachers were each accommodated in their own hotel chalet, which were located in a quiet, secluded area of the holiday park, providing a peaceful setting to retire to after a busy day of lectures. All the accommodation was clean, functional and well equipped. Our ten day programme consisted of both lectures and social activities. The lecture room was more than adequate and De Krim was able to hire in the audio-visual set-up we required. The welcome reception, barbecue and formal dinner that formed our social programme were really well organized and De Krim also gave us complimentary access to their bowling alley one evening, which our students really enjoyed. From an organizational point of view, the events team at De Krim were a pleasure to work with. They were approachable, proactive and easy to communicate with. I would have no hesitation in recommending de Krim to my colleagues for future events.’
