"In and around De Cocksdorp you can enjoy the peace and quiet that Texel offers. You can rent bicycles from us and go out for a ride. One of my favorite places to get a breath of fresh air is the long beach near the lighthouse, just a few kilometers from the hotel. Here you have the most beautiful view and you can take a nice walk on the beach in peace and quiet. And while you are there, I recommend you to visit the lighthouse from the inside, where you can see all the remains of the old lighthouse."
