The Waddenvereniging - introducing
Out of love for the Wadden Sea, the Waddenvereniging (Wadden Association) protects the peace, space and nature of the vulnerable Wadden Sea region. The Waddenvereniging tackles harmful activities, works to restore nature and lets people experience for themselves how special the Wadden Sea is.
About the Waddenvereniging
The Waddenvereniging is an independent private association, committed to a strong and living Wadden area. It focuses on protecting and restoring nature, the landscape and the environment and is committed to good management of this unique ecosystem.
The Waddenvereniging wants to involve and enthuse people for this special nature. With the awareness that humans are also part of the ecosystem.
Support for nature
Support for the Wadden Sea region is urgently needed to protect and preserve its fragile natural environment. Only by working together can we ensure that this unique landscape remains intact for future generations.
Collaboration with De Krim Texel
Together with the Waddenvereniging, De Krim Texel raises awareness of the Wadden Sea nature among a wide audience. The association's mudflat guides can stay at our campsite free of charge, including the use of gas, water, electricity and sanitary facilities. We actively promote the mudflat excursions to our guests and, in the summer, offer the Waddenvereniging space to provide nature education at Natuuravontuur at Vakantiepark De Krim. In this way, we contribute together to the experience and preservation of the mudflats.
Become a donor to the mudflats
The Waddenvereniging takes action to protect the tranquillity, space and rugged nature of the Wadden Sea region. Out of love for this vulnerable area that deserves protection. They combat harmful activities, restore nature and let people experience for themselves how special the Wadden Sea is. But they cannot do this alone. The support of other Wadden Sea enthusiasts is needed to make a difference.
