Parking on Texel
From Monday to Saturday inclusive, from 8:00 to 20:00, paid parking applies in all villages and at beach access points on Texel. Payment options include the Texel vignette, pay-by-phone/-text or paying the hourly rate at a ticket machine. The Texel vignette is the most economical option if you are staying on the island for a longer period of time.
Texel vignette
You can only buy the Texel vignette online at www.texelvignet.com or locally at a ticket machine. The Texel vignette is valid for a day, a week or a whole year throughout Texel. The vignette is a digital permit linked to your car registration. This means that you won’t have to display a parking disc in the windscreen of your car.
How much does it cost?
Vignette:
- Day ticket €20.00
- Week ticket €30.00
- Annual ticket €40.00
The hourly rate at a ticket machine is €5.00.
Parking in a blue zone
A maximum stay of 2 hours applies in some car parks. In these car parks, you have to set your time of arrival on a blue parking disc and display this in your windscreen.
