Winner of the 2025 photo competition
This year, we received no less than 1,450 entries for the 2025 Photo Competition! A colourful collection that gives a unique insight into the holidays of our guests. FFrom typical Texel sheep, blooming heather, to loyal four-legged friends and cozy family photos.
Our Facebook and Instagram followers had the honour of choosing the winner. And this is the winning photo: An impressive photograph, the Texel lighthouse is beautifully illuminated against the dark evening sky. Next to the tower, a strikingly large, bright orange moon appears, giving the landscape a special atmosphere. The combination of the unusual moon and composition makes this image unforgettable!

Photo competition 2026
There will be another photo competition in 2026! Take part and win a free weekend at Vakantiepark De Krim in a chalet type Lighthouse for 4 people (outside school holidays and public holidays). Taking part is easy!
How does it work?
Send your most beautiful Texel photo* (until 1 November 2026) to: fotowedstrijd@krim.nl.
- You can submit a maximum of 3 photos.
- The use of filters on photos is not permitted.
- Preferably in the highest possible resolution, at least 1 mb per file. Add the files as attachments. Do not paste them into the e-mail.
- AI images are excluded from participation.
- By participating, you give De Krim permission to use the submitted photos for publicity purposes.
*Drone photographs are welcome, provided that the images are taken in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; the use of a drone above Texel is only permitted with a valid permit.
Announcement of winners
The top 4 will be announced in mid-November, and the winner at the end of November via the website, newsletter, and Facebook and Instagram page.
