The North Sea Coast

The North Sea is a very diverse area and is considered the wadden region with the most species of flora and fauna. The North Sea is home to many animal species, such as the herring, humpback whale, orca and seal. The bottom acts as a treasure trove for fossils, so there is always something to discover. Because of the brown colour, people think that the North Sea is dirty, but the area is quite clean.

Experience all that the beach has to offer

On the endless sandy beach of the Texel North Sea coast there is plenty to do! Relaxing in the sun, playing in the water or building sand castles, it is all possible. Your dog can also have fun on the beach, because dogs are allowed on many parts of the beach. Rather be more active?
