Solar panel array opened
The floating solar panel array created on the water buffer at Golf Course De Texelse opened on 8 September 2017.
2,390 Solar panels
There are a total of 2,390 solar panels, which will generate 800,000 kW of energy per year. This represents approximately half of Holiday Park De Krim’s annual energy consumption (including the new swimming pool).
The opening of the solar panel array will certainly help the municipality of Texel achieve its sustainability objective and is just one way in which De Krim Texel is working to keep Texel the attractive and thriving place it is today!
