Atletiek Vereniging Texel (Texel Athletics Association) is organizing the Hoge Berg Run in which young and old van take part. There is a large round of 7.5 km and a shorter round of 5.6 km, the youth up to 12 run a round of 1 km. The Hoge Berg Run starts at AV Texel’s athletics track and the routes go over paths among the “tuunwallen” and the sheep with a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea. It is a recreational run in which each participant receives a nice souvenir.
