The writer Jan Heemskerk has been golfing for more than half his life. He is a fan of Golf Course De Texelse and there he won the championship of people over eighty: a highlight of his career. He immediately stopped playing serious golf. Over the years he has collected many stories with dozens of amusing, interesting and critical anecdotes. These are bundled in this book. A pleasure to read, even for those not addicted to that fantastic miserable golf sport.
