National Mill Day
Ever since 194, National Windmill Day has been held every year on the second Saturday of May. This is a day on which as many mills are possible in the Netherlands turn and are open for visits. The two big mills on Texel also take part: both mill Het Noorden and De Traanroeier. This is definitely worth a visit!
