Nieuw Buitenheim

Nieuw Buitenheim is a nature reserve that was created in 2018. The largest part of this area has been excavated and provided with different depths of water. The area includes several small islands filled with shells, intended for beach-breeding birds, so that they van nest here safely. There is also a footpath that leads to a bird-watching screen and a bird-watching hut, from which you can see a beautiful view of the nature reserve.
