Ottersaat

The area is full of small islands where several shorebirds breed. In spring you will see hundreds of nests and in June the many chicks. Various birds such as the black-headed gull, avocet and breeding common tern use the Ottersaat as a refuge. The area cannot be entered, but can be overseen from the dike or car park.
